St Patricks Day Shamrocks DTF Transfer

Materials

Our direct to film DTF transfers can be used on 100% cotton, 100% polyester, cotton/poly blends, triblends, mesh, canvas, Lycra®, and spandex.

Pressing Instructions

Note: You must have an actual heat press where you can adjust the pressure. Avoid using presses like Autopress - like the HTVRONT, Handpresses - like Cricut Easy Press, and household irons -- none of these will apply enough pressure needed for DTF Transfers.

Each heat-press is unique. We're sharing our own usage-based general instructions for our apparel business and press. If you require any help or need further info, feel free to message us directly at info@flawlesstransfers.com. Please include your heat press information so we can look up the specs.

Regular Film Pressing Instructions:
HOT PEEL
For Cotton: Press at 280-320° F - High Pressure
For Polyester: Press at 285° F – High Pressure
1st press: 10 - 15 seconds
2nd press: 10 - 12 seconds
*suggested settings, results may vary*
*PLEASE USE A TEMP GUN TO MAKE SURE YOUR
HEAT PRESS PLATEN IS ACCURATE*
1) Place garment on heat press and
transfer onto garment with image (right reading) facing up.
2) Press at desired temp, pressure and time based on your type of garment.
3) RIP film off by the corner with the thickest part of the design - DO NOT PEEL SLOWLY.
4) Cover design with parchment paper
or Teflon sheet for the 2nd press

NOTE: If your transfer is not sticking, you need to increase your pressure setting. If it's at the highest, then follow these troubleshooting instructions:

Transfers rip

I have ruined a few shirts and sweatshirts. The transfers rip when I peel the cover off after pressing

We reached out to Jennifer to get more information so that we could help troubleshoot with her. It turns out that she is using a cricut hand press, which is not recommended for DTF transfers as it does not provide the heavy pressure needed for a successful transfer. We mention that we do not recommend these types of presses on all of our listings. We apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused and hope that this information helps. If you have any further questions or concerns, please don't hesitate to reach out to us.
